The Africa CDC has mandated a shift to village-level Ebola response strategies in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to contain the ongoing outbreak following a high-level crisis meeting in Kinshasa.

DRC President Felix Tshisekedi chaired the Wednesday meeting, which included WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and Africa CDC Director-General Jean Kaseya to finalize the immediate priority action plan.
