Veteran Actor Nana Patekar Cremated With State Honours

Veteran actor Nana Patekar was cremated with full state honours, including a 21-gun salute, at his farmhouse in Donje village near Pune at age 75.

More than 1,000 people and several dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar, gathered to pay their final respects.

Patekar co-founded the Naam Foundation in 2015 to support drought-affected farmers and rural communities across Maharashtra.
