A civil court in Jhansi issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against actor Rakhi Sawant after she repeatedly failed to appear for hearings in a 2010 suicide case.
The case stems from a complaint filed by the mother of Laxman Ahirwar, who allegedly died by suicide after being humiliated by remarks made on Sawant's television show, Rakhi Ka Insaaf.
District Government Counsel Mridul Kant Srivastava stated that the next court hearing in the ongoing proceedings has been scheduled for December 1.
