India to Participate in Inaugural Session of 'Partners for Multilateralism' at UN

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will attend the inaugural session of the new non-superpower grouping 'Partners for Multilateralism' in New York on Monday.

Founded by the European Union, Brazil, Canada, and Kenya, the initiative pushes for structural reforms to make the United Nations more representative and effective.

The grouping's founders stated in a joint editorial that the framework is intended to foster collective action across divides rather than establish another exclusive bloc.
