Sri Lanka police summon former first lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa in charity graft probe

Sri Lanka's police summoned former first lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa for questioning regarding alleged misuse of donations made to her Siriliya Saviya charity.

The Financial Crimes Investigation Division served the summons as she was boarding a flight to Singapore for medical treatment.

Investigators allege the charity continued to solicit 10 million rupees in donations for a PET scanner that had already been donated by the Chinese government.
