Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Washington on Wednesday for a three-day state visit, receiving a rare planeside welcome from US President Donald Trump at Joint Base Andrews.
The itinerary features a formal White House arrival ceremony, a troop review, and a black-tie state dinner on Thursday attended by business leaders such as Jensen Huang and Elon Musk.
Both leaders are scheduled to address key bilateral tensions behind closed doors, covering trade, artificial intelligence, Iran, and Taiwan before holding private tea on Friday.
