Microsoft Launches India South Central Cloud Region in Hyderabad

Microsoft launched its India South Central cloud region in Hyderabad on Monday to support enterprise AI and cloud workloads.

The new facility gives Microsoft four cloud regions in India, adding to its existing footprint in Pune, Chennai, and Mumbai.

Microsoft India President Puneet Chandok stated that India generates 20 percent of world data while possessing only 3 percent capacity.
