Google announced that users can now toggle off visible watermarks on AI-generated images, videos, and songs produced by its Nano Banana, Omni, and Lyria models.
The change does not remove invisible SynthID watermarks or C2PA metadata, ensuring that AI-generated content remains identifiable for safety and transparency purposes.
The feature is rolling out in the coming days via the Settings menu in Gemini and the Flow video editor, with support for Google Search expected soon.
