Jainendra Kumar Nigam secured the 12th rank in the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission examination to achieve his ambition of becoming a Deputy Superintendent of Police.
Overcoming legal battles and a period of imprisonment in 2019-20, he famously appeared for an administrative examination while escorted in handcuffs.
Despite falling ill with malaria and typhoid during the mains examination period in March 2024, he continued writing papers with medical treatment to complete his exams.
