Kurnool police deploy 2,000 personnel for Ganesh immersion

Superintendent of Police Vikrant Patil announced that nearly 2,000 police personnel will be deployed for the Ganesh immersion ceremony in Kurnool on Tuesday.

Authorities expect approximately 1,500 idols to be immersed at designated locations including Vinayak Ghat, Handri-Neeva canal at Nannur toll plaza, and Ulindakonda.

Comprehensive surveillance arrangements, including drone cameras, bomb disposal squads, and specific traffic diversions starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, have been implemented.
