At least six people were killed and 16 others injured when a 25-year-old Polish man opened fire at random in Krakow's Main Market Square.
Armed officers engaged the suspect and shot him within three minutes, while three additional bodies were later found at his home.
Polish authorities stated that early investigations indicate the attacker was inspired by far-right ideologies.
