India Dominates Second Test Against Sri Lanka in Colombo

India declared their first innings at 503/9 on Day 2 of the second Test in Colombo, establishing a commanding 495-run lead over Sri Lanka.

Dhruv Jurel scored an unbeaten 115 and Devdutt Padikkal contributed 117, while Sri Lanka struggled to 8/2 by stumps after losing two wickets in 16 deliveries.

Play was interrupted for nearly two hours by rain on Monday, but India's bowlers Prasidh Krishna and Manav Suthar secured early breakthroughs to put the hosts under pressure.
