Jailer 2 Review: Rajinikanth and Nelson Deliver a Mass Masala Sequel

Director Nelson’s sequel Jailer 2 features Rajinikanth reprising his role as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian alongside a cast including SJ Suryah and Ramya Krishnan.

The 165-minute action entertainer builds on the original film's template with signature stylised action sequences, dark humour, and an Anirudh Ravichander music score.

The narrative follows the retired jailer confronting a statue-smuggling syndicate to protect his grieving family from a fresh threat.
