Delhi Records Six-Fold Surge in H1N1 Influenza Cases

Delhi has reported 1,344 H1N1 influenza cases this season, a nearly six-fold increase compared to the 229 infections recorded during the same period last year.

Doctors at major hospitals report seeing 7-10 H1N1 patients daily in OPDs, with symptoms including high fever, cough, and muscle pain lasting five to seven days.

Health authorities advise vulnerable groups, including the elderly and those with diabetes or hypertension, to isolate and seek immediate medical attention if they experience breathing difficulties.
