Pakistan Vows Full Support to Saudi Arabia Amid Houthi Attacks

Pakistan's military spokesman Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated in an interview that his country will back ally Saudi Arabia both diplomatically and physically to any extent following recent Houthi attacks.

The renewed regional tensions stem from Houthi reports of fresh Saudi airstrikes and Riyadh accusing the group of launching an attack targeting Islam's holy city of Mecca.

Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey signed the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement last month to establish mutual defence mechanisms, though institutionalization between their armed forces remains ongoing.
