The renewed regional tensions stem from Houthi reports of fresh Saudi airstrikes and Riyadh accusing the group of launching an attack targeting Islam's holy city of Mecca.
Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey signed the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement last month to establish mutual defence mechanisms, though institutionalization between their armed forces remains ongoing.
