The BCCI has appointed 57-year-old Subhadeep Ghosh as the new fielding coach for the Indian Men’s Team, replacing T Dilip following the conclusion of the Zimbabwe tour.
Ghosh, a former Assam and Railways player, will join head coach Gautam Gambhir’s support staff, which currently includes batting coach Sitanshu Kotak and bowling coach Morne Morkel.
His first assignment with the senior team will be the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka in August, building on his previous experience at the National Cricket Academy and in the IPL.
