Tata Steel officially divested its 100% stake in Jamshedpur Football Club to Churchill Brothers on August 14, 2026, for a nominal sum of ₹100, marking the company's exit from the ISL.
The deal includes the transfer of all player contracts, coaching staff, and infrastructure assets, ending Tata's long-standing association with professional football in the region.
Churchill Brothers will now assume full operational control of the club, with plans to rebrand and restructure the team's management ahead of the upcoming 2026-27 football season.
