
The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam government signed 97 memoranda of understanding worth over ₹67,542 crore during its first 'Vettri Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026' held on Thursday.
Industries Secretary S. Vijayakumar stated that all 97 projects are expected to be grounded within six months to one year, with 25 companies entering the state for the first time.
Major commitments include a ₹2,500 crore investment by the Hinduja Group in renewable energy and a ₹1,000 crore footwear park project by Phoenix Kothari Footwear Limited in Ramanathapuram.
