Ramayana Preview Stuns Exhibitors with Hollywood-Level VFX

Exhibitors at the Big Cine Expo in Chennai on August 18, 2026, were shown an exclusive 15-minute preview of the upcoming film Ramayana, featuring high-end VFX and creature designs.

The presentation included footage of a one-eyed daitya and a bear-like creature, with attendees comparing the visual quality to Hollywood productions like The Lord of the Rings.

The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi, with the first part scheduled for a Diwali 2026 release and the sequel set to arrive in cinemas on Diwali 2027.
