AAP Alleges ₹22,000 Crore Subsidised Rice Scam in Delhi

AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj has accused the Delhi government of orchestrating a ₹22,000 crore scam involving the diversion of subsidised rice intended for the city's poor over a three-year period.

Bharadwaj alleged that 31,000 metric tons of rice were requested weekly from the Food Corporation of India, only to be sold to a private company in Haryana for illicit profits.

The AAP claims the Assam-based corporation involved in the scheme earned a weekly commission of ₹70 crore, with the Central government's vigilance department reportedly identifying the irregularities.
