Reliance Consumer Products has launched a new ice cream brand, Bombay Creamery, marking the conglomerate's entry into the competitive Indian ice cream market.
The product range starts at a price point of ₹10, with the company planning a nationwide rollout following an initial launch in western India.
This move follows Reliance's previous market disruptions in the cola sector with Campa and the telecom industry, challenging established players like Amul, Vadilal, and Mother Dairy.
