Kishtwar police solved the murder case of missing Special Police Officer Bashir Ahmed and arrested two local suspects following an extensive investigation.

The officer had gone missing with his service rifle on October 15, prompting a search operation after his wife inquired about his disappearance.

Police recovered the victim's service weapon, belongings, and his body from a pit dug in a nallah in the Trigam forest area, registering a murder case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
