Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray declared that his party will not rest until the killers of Thane division chief Pradeep Purnekar are punished.
Purnekar was shot and fatally injured by four masked assailants at his office in Manorama Nagar on Tuesday evening.
The family and Shiv Sena (UBT) alleged the involvement of former Thane mayor Meenakshi Shinde and her husband Rajendra Shinde, while police arrested former aide Prakash Shinde.
