Gold prices remained steady at ₹1.46 lakh per 10 grams in New Delhi on Thursday due to cautious retail buying amid elevated market rates.
Silver prices increased by ₹500 to reach ₹1,98,500 per kilogram, inclusive of all taxes, according to the All India Sarafa Association.
Analysts noted that hawkish signals from the US Federal Reserve kept spot gold pressured at USD 4,018.08 per ounce in international markets.
