
U.S. President Donald Trump appointed Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton to lead a newly established federal artificial intelligence task force branded as the 'Super Intelligence Force.'
The task force will coordinate federal initiatives and conduct outreach involving consumers, public interest groups, religious organizations, critical infrastructure providers, and AI companies.
Additional members appointed to the group include FTC Chairman Andrew Ferguson, Pentagon CTO Emil Michael, and OPM Director Scott Kupor, reporting directly to Trump and Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.
