UK Police Question Five Men Detained Near US Air Base in Fairford

British counterterrorism officers questioned five men detained near the RAF Fairford air base in western England on suspicion of explosives and terrorism offenses.

The suspects were intercepted following a tip-off after three large white vans were seen heading toward the military airfield used by the U.S. to strike Iran.

Police established a 400-meter cordon around the base and evacuated residents from 85 nearby homes as investigations continued.
