Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda inaugurated 10 Critical Care Blocks and 12 Integrated Public Health Laboratories costing Rs 250 crore in Vijayawada on Saturday.

The projects have added 500 critical-care beds equipped with advanced operation theatres and specialized medical services across various districts in Andhra Pradesh.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, the central government has sanctioned 24 Critical Care Blocks and 26 Integrated Public Health Laboratories for the State.
