Activist Sonam Wangchuk has called for a "second Independence movement" to reform India's political leadership and selection process ahead of the 2047 centenary.
Wangchuk cited data claiming nearly 50% of Indian MPs face criminal cases, with one-third accused of serious offenses including murder, rape, and kidnapping.
He is seeking public proposals for "selfless, fearless" individuals to help reshape the political system and has pledged support to student protesters in Jharkhand.
