Tejaswin Shankar Wins Historic Decathlon Bronze at Commonwealth Games

Tejaswin Shankar secured India's first-ever Commonwealth Games decathlon medal by winning bronze with a total of 7976 points on Friday.

Shankar finished the final 1500m event in 4:36.19, successfully holding off England's Sammy Ball, who finished fourth overall with 7893 points.

Grenada’s Lindon Victor claimed the gold medal with 8096 points, while Canada’s Damian Warner took the silver with 8036 points.
