Nepal Defeat Afghanistan to Open Asian Games Campaign

Nepal secured a five-wicket victory over Afghanistan in their Group A Asian Games cricket match at Korogi Sports Park on Friday.

Afghanistan posted a modest total of 102 runs in 20 overs, restricted by disciplined bowling spells from Kushal Bhurtel and Lalit Rajbanshi.

Nepal successfully chased the target in 17.2 overs, led by contributions from Sundeep Jora and Rohit Paudel.
