External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar stated in New York that India's concerns over terrorism emanating from Pakistan and a lack of US understanding can affect bilateral relations.
Speaking at an Asia Society event, Jaishankar also pointed to growing opposition to immigration and mobility in the US as a public opinion factor influencing diplomacy.
During his visit, Jaishankar held talks with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, addressing proposed US sanctions on Russian oil purchases and trade deal challenges.
