
Superintendent Tony B. Watlington Sr. announced several administrative shifts, including the appointment of Kristy Baldwin as chief talent officer at an annual salary of $235,000.
The district, which serves 113,000 students, also appointed new interim assistant superintendents and reassigned senior officials like Tomás Hanna to oversee student life and school operations.
Multiple schools, including Northeast High and Memphis Street Academy, have received new principals as the district prepares for the start of the school year on August 24.
