Current retail inflation highest in 12 years of Modi government, says Pralhad Joshi

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi stated that retail inflation has risen to 4.8%, marking the highest rate during the 12 years of the Modi government.

Joshi attributed the increase to El Nino and natural calamities, contrasting it with double-digit inflation rates experienced during the UPA regime.

He maintained that India's economy remains resilient despite global economic challenges and praised its recognition at the BRICS summit.
