Netanyahu Rejects US-Backed 15-Point Gaza Peace Plan

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected a US-brokered 15-point Gaza peace plan, insisting that Israeli troops will remain in the territory until Hamas is genuinely disarmed.

The rejected roadmap mandated a phased Israeli military withdrawal and the transition of governance to a technocratic Palestinian committee backed by an international security force.

Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty warned that the failure to implement the agreement, which includes a target of 600 aid trucks daily, risks worsening the humanitarian crisis for two million Palestinians.
