Eleven-year-old Indian-origin British player Bodhana Sivanandan earned her final Woman Grandmaster norm at the 2026 Chess Olympiad in Samarkand, becoming the youngest WGM in history.

Representing England on board one, she won six games and scored 8.0/11 points to help the English women's team finish 15th in the tournament.
