Nike Launches Alphafly 4 Marathon Shoe Featuring Advanced Foam Tech

Nike launched the Alphafly 4 marathon racing shoe, designed to be its lightest and most responsive model with a 10 percent greater energy return than its predecessor.

The footwear incorporates ZoomX LT foam layered above and below a wider carbon-fibre Flyplate, reducing the shoe's weight by 5 percent to 208 grams for men and 168 grams for women.

Retailing for $280 and scheduled to go on sale on October 29, the shoe uses a new Light Shot outsole and updated Air Zoom pods to deliver improved stability and a quieter ride.
