Prakash Rajpurohit Appointed Deputy Election Commissioner

Prakash Rajpurohit, a 2010-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as a Deputy Election Commissioner in the Election Commission of India.

The appointment fills the vacancy left by the premature repatriation of Sanjay Kumar, who previously managed the Electoral Rolls and IT Division.

Sanjay Kumar had earlier signed the June 24, 2025, order initiating the Special Intensive Revision in the country.
