China Southern Airlines announced the resumption of direct passenger flights between New Delhi and Guangzhou starting September 21.
The air route is reopening after a six-year suspension following pandemic disruptions and subsequent geopolitical standoffs.
The announcement coincided with Chinese President Xi Jinping's arrival in New Delhi for the 18th BRICS Summit.
