The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences announced that candidates upgrading postgraduate medical seats via NEET PG 2026 need not pay first-year course fees in advance.

Only candidates who freeze their seats and do not seek upgradation must pay the annual course fee directly to their allotted NBEMS-accredited hospital.

Round 1 reporting and joining windows run from October 26 to November 2, 2026, according to the published schedule.
