The UP Board announced exams for 2027 are scheduled for February 5–24, but may be rescheduled if the ECI schedules assembly polls in February.
Past election cycles in 2012, 2017, and 2022 saw board exams moved to March, as schools are frequently repurposed as polling centers.
Board secretary Bhagwati Singh noted that over 50 lakh students and nearly 2 lakh teachers are involved in the examination process each year.
