Two Kuki women were shot dead by armed individuals in Muktakhan village, Tamenglong district, while doing agricultural work on Tuesday.
Kuki Inpi Manipur alleged the killings were carried out by NSCN-IM and ZUF-K cadres, while the Kuki-Zo Council resolved to withhold burials.
The Kuki-Zo Council announced that victims killed by Naga armed groups will not be buried until further notice and their remains preserved in cold storage.
