The Asian Football Confederation postponed the 2027 Asian Cup tournament from January 7 to December 23 due to the Middle East conflict.
Local organizers agreed to reschedule following substantial logistical complexities, travel disruptions, and recent security incidents in Saudi Arabia.
The revised tournament dates of December 23, 2027, to January 21, 2028, will be submitted to FIFA for formal approval.
