
ICICI Bank mobilized approximately $17.88 billion (roughly ₹1.70 lakh crore) in FCNR deposits through the Reserve Bank of India’s special forex swap facility as of August 31.
The bank also issued $3.55 billion in US dollar-denominated bonds during July and August 2026 to bolster its foreign currency liquidity position.
International branches of the bank provided $9 billion in loans against these deposits, while standby letters of credit worth $3.63 billion were issued to other financial institutions.
