Ericsson ramps up India production to export antennas to global markets

Ericsson announced plans to scale up local production of antennas and telecom equipment in India, exporting made-in-India hardware to global markets like Europe for the first time.

The company stated that more than 15,000 antennas and 25 million components have been manufactured in India since July 2025 to support 5G standalone and AI-ready networks.

The announcement was made at the tenth edition of the India Mobile Congress 2026 held at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi.
