Veteran Filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao Passes Away at 94

Legendary movie director and writer Singeetham Srinivasa Rao passed away on Saturday evening at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai at the age of 94.

He directed acclaimed films across multiple languages, including the dialogue-less movie Pushpak Vimana, Mayuri, and Aditya 369.

His final project was the genre-defying musical-fantasy comedy film The Sing Geetham, which was released in June 2026.
