Collapsed war-damaged Gaza building kills 20 people sheltering inside

At least 20 Palestinians, including six children, were killed when a seven-storey war-damaged apartment building collapsed in Gaza City overnight on Wednesday.

Gaza civil defence officials reported that about 10 families lived in the structure, and rescue efforts involving U.N. agencies and Egyptian relief workers faced severe equipment shortages.

United Nations officials warned that approximately 400 additional damaged buildings remain at severe risk of collapse as the winter season approaches.
