Severe cyclone Arnab made landfall on the Andhra Pradesh coast between Kakinada and Yanam on Wednesday, bringing destructive winds and torrential rains.
The AP State Disaster Management Authority reported gusty winds of 125-135 kmph in Kakinada, Konaseema, and West Godavari districts.
The severe weather disrupted transport, leading to the cancellation of 63 trains and 160 APSRTC bus services in Visakhapatnam.
