Gold and Precious Metals Suffer Steep Declines in October

International gold prices fell below $3,900 per ounce on October 30, touching a one-year low and marking their worst monthly performance in years.

Silver prices plunged below $50 an ounce for the first time since November 2025, recording the steepest monthly decline among precious metals at 19.17 percent.

Platinum dipped below $1,500 per ounce to reach its lowest level since September 2025, while the gold-silver ratio climbed to its highest point since December.
