Zelenskyy Urges UN General Assembly to Limit Trade With Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged world leaders at the UN General Assembly to keep choking Russia's revenues by limiting trade to impede its war efforts.

Western analysts estimate that the 4.5-year war has resulted in over 500,000 Russian troop deaths and more than 500,000 Ukrainian military casualties, including up to 140,000 deaths.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told the UN Security Council that Russia is prepared to negotiate toward a lasting peace but will not simply pause the war.
