US Proposes $103,265 H-1B Visa Fee, Impacting Indian IT Sector

The Trump administration has moved to impose a new fee of $103,265 for H-1B worker visas, a drastic increase aimed at curbing the reliance of U.S. firms on foreign skilled labor.

Industry body NASSCOM has strongly criticized the proposal, warning that the exorbitant cost will disproportionately affect Indian IT companies and thousands of skilled professionals currently working in the United States.
